Biography:
The Mantras started as a group of musicians with a goal. The goal was to deliver the quality in music that makes people feel moved. Watching our music move others instills within us a sense of accomplishment that we could never find anywhere else. We strive for our music to become our lives, because it already consumes them.
2006 saw a lot of firsts for The Mantras. to name a few: We recorded our first album (self titled); Started seeing our first group of usuals in the crowd; Our first Halloween show was a roaring success; and NYE was a sold out affair leaving us feeling very optimistic about the coming year.
2007 has been just as momentous as ever... Opening for Barefoot Manner, Dub-Conscious and The Bridge was just the tip of the iceburg!
With a sold out St. Pattys day show under their belts, The Mantras turn their sights to the festival season!
THE MANTRA BASH '07
In addition to other festival performances at Off The Grid Fest and The Sensational Spring Fling we also organized and headlined our own outdoor music festival; THE MANTRA BASH!
It was a roaring success and looks to be an annual affair!!
The Mantras continue to raise the bar at every show… Who knows whats in store for the future!!
